Hi, my name is Jarett but my artist name is Jay Don't Play.
I started making music back around 2002-2003 using Fruity Loops, and going by the name MC Mello.
Back then I was all about making "gangsta rap" and "trip-hop" type stuff.
Since then, I have evolved into new styles and genres, mixing various types of music together to create my own sound.
If I had to choose certain genres to represent my music, I would tell you my music consists of electropop, trip-hop, synthpop, EBM and "industrial techno rap" as I like to call it.
If you are a fan of electronic, industrial or rap type music, I think you will find that you enjoy at least a few of my songs.
